It's been 3 blissful weeks since I adopted Roscoe - my first cat! Roscoe has acclimated to his new home beautifully and I couldn't have asked for a more affectionate cat. Roscoe likes lots of head scratches and he will follow me into the bathroom to get them! Roscoe also enjoys: chasing the boa on a string, running wildly down the hall for no apparent reason, attacking the broom when I sweep, stealing and hiding my hair scrunchies, napping on the futon while I'm on the computer, and intently watching the birds through the patio door. Occasionally, I'll find him with a bottle of Thunderbird singing old blues songs - photographic evidence attached - but we're working on that. I look forward to many years of cat companionship and when friends ask why it took me (an animal lover) so long to adopt a pet, I just tell them I was waiting for the right one!
